Mission e Vision

The Industrial and Corporate Change Association was founded in 1993 by a group of scholars in economics, history, sociology and management with the aim of promoting research and dialogue on the role of  actors such as firms, public policy, universities and research centers (and more broadly institutions) in the innovation processes and in industrial and corporate change.

As a non-profit organization, the ICC Association carries out its mission through several key activities.

One is the publication of the journal Industrial and Corporate Change produced in collaboration with Oxford University Press. The Journal Industrial and Corporate Change explores topics related to innovation, industrial dynamics, evolution of firms, sectors and countries, industrial dynamics, corporate strategy and organization, role of institutions and macro dynamics. It draws from an interdisciplinary approach that integrates economics, management, history, political science, and sociology. Its goal is to offer rigorous empirical and theoretical analyses, providing solid conceptual  foundations and concrete tools to understand economic, industrial and corporate change.

In addition the ICC Association supports academic research and training both independently and in partnership with universities and research centers in Italy and abroad. Through the promotion of advanced research and interdisciplinary, the ICC Association aims to provide theoretical and empirical insights into the challenges and opportunities facing firms, industries and countries in the current economic and industrial context.

Finally, the ICC Association organizes conferences, seminars and workshops in collaboration with top public and private international scientific institutions. The goal of these conferences, seminars and workshops is to gather scholars from all over the world and create, stimulate and diffuse new scientific and policy knowledge. These conferences may take place in Milan or in other locations around the world and concern the major themes of interest to the Association: innovation and technological evolution, industrial and corporate change, market dynamics, innovation systems and the role of institutions in innovation, industry evolution and macro dynamics.
